Knudson: Janklow Was A Force Of Nature
January 12, 2012, 5:12 PM
Former Senate Majority Leader Dave Knudson was Janklow's Chief of Staff.
He says Janklow was a real force of nature and produced an astounding amount of positive change for South Dakota.
"To me, it's very clear that when you write the history of South Dakota in the last quarter of the 20th century, it's going to be the story of Bill Janklow from 1970 to 2010, a 40-year timeframe. He was just a dominant figure in our state," Knudson said.
Knudson says Janklow also changed the economic landscape of our state in his time in office. He is saddened by the news of Janklow's passing.
