Kirkegaard Family Plans Vigil As Police Look For Killer
Kari Kirkegaard

Family and friends continue to keep a Sioux Falls homicide victim's memory alive.

They're planning a vigil Wednesday evening at 5:15 p.m. outside of Kari Kirkegaard's home.  She lived right across the street from Garfield Elementary school.

It's now been more than a week since a family member discovered her body.

Police are still looking for Kirkegaard's killer.  They have released video and photos of a suspect.  Police say the man was caught on camera riding up to Kirkegaard's home on a bicycle and then leaving in Kirkegaard's SUV.  He then returned the SUV, linking him to the crime.
