The Kingswood Rummages kicks off its 35th year of sales in western Sioux Falls on Wednesday.
This neighborhood rummage is one of the largest in the area. Organizers say there are over 300 registered sales, which each year continues to increase.
With the recent ice and snow storms in the area, the neighborhood has been working hard to get sidewalks and streets back into top shape.
Organizers hope for record crowds this year, they say providing the weather holds that shouldn’t be a problem.
This event pulls in people from throughout the Midwest every year. Most sales open around 8 a.m. and close at dark. The event officially runs through Saturday.
Kingswood Rummage has expanded the area this year:
- PRIMARY KINGSWOOD AREA - Southwest Sioux Falls, between I-29 on the East and Sertoma Avenue on the West, 41st Street on the South and Coughran Court on the North.
- EXPANDED KINGSWOOD AREA - Southwest Sioux Falls, between I-29 on the East and the Tea-Ellis Road on the West, 49th Street on the South and 12th Street on the North.
You can find all the listings with times, items and number of families participating in each sale on the Kingswood Rummage Sale website.
