Kimball-White Lake used a 20-point fourth quarter Saturday to beat Lemmon 46-41 in the fifth-place game at the South Dakota Class B girls basketball tournament.
Lemmon was within three until missing a 3-pointer with 7 seconds left. Kimball-White Lake rebounded and was fouled but missed a free throw, giving the Cowgirls (23-3) life. But Lemmon had the outlet pass stolen and the Wildkats (17-8) made two free throws to clinch it.
Jazmyn Hinker had 14 points and Kelli Steffen 11 fort Kimball-White Lake, which outscored Lemmon 14-5 from the line.
Julie Blue Arm led Lemmon with 11 points.
