The man who gave two Watertown teens the gun that was used to murder 20-year-old Jordan LeBeau in December has pleaded guilty.
Kevin Rice, 21, pleaded guilty to First Degree Manslaughter Wednesday morning and admitted that he gave 18-year-old Trevor Kruthoff and 19-year-old Brian Anderson the handgun they used during the botched robbery at LeBeau’s northwest Sioux Falls home.

Rice also admitted during his plea hearing that he drove Kruthoff and Anderson past LeBeau’s home three days before the attempted robbery and told them there was thousands of dollars inside.
Rice could face up to life in prison, but sentencing will be delayed until the Anderson and Kruthoff cases are resolved because Rice has agreed to testify against them.
