Ken Huber Waives Initial Court Appearance

We now know Ken Huber waived his first court appearance, and will see a judge next Tuesday, when he'll enter a plea.
He arrived in Pierre this afternoon, after he was arrested last night in Sioux Falls at the VA hospital.
This morning, hundreds of people attended Pam Huber's funeral. She was a life-long resident of Highmore, very involved in the community, and especially involved in her kids' activities.
Two daughters are now left without either parent. Community members say that's their biggest concern.
Highmore Business Owner, Jerry Vlcek says, “Such a tragedy. What do you do? How do you help the kids cope with it? I think the town would do anything for them.”
We're told Pam's sister will take care of the two girls.
