KELOLAND TV Expands Morning Newscast

SIOUX FALLS, SD -
KELOLAND TV is pleased to announce that KELOLAND This Morning will expand to 2 ½ hours beginning each weekday at 4:30 a.m. CT. The expansion is effective April 11, 2011, and makes KELOLAND This Morning the first and only 2 ½ hour local news block in the market.
“We recognize the growing importance of morning news and weather. This expansion continues our commitment to being the news and weather leader in the market.” KELOLAND TV General Manager Jay Huizenga said.
KELOLAND This Morning is anchored by Jon Wilson, Nicole Winters and meteorologist Brian Karstens. Reporter Kelly Bartnick provides live breaking news coverage throughout the morning. A second reporter will join Bartnick before the newscast expands on April 11.
CBS Morning News will move to 4:00 a.m. CT. The Early Show will continue to follow KELOLAND This Morning from 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. CT each weekday.
