KELO Teams Up With Jansa For Golf Tips

April 9, 2014, 10:50 PM by Cat Clark

KELO Teams Up With Jansa For Golf Tips
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Whether you are a beginner or well on your way to making the pro tour there is always room to improve your golf game. That is why we are teaming up with Tom Jansa to help shave off a few strokes.
A few years ago KELO got together with Dakota Golf Management President Tom Jansa to bring you a few basic tips to help you enjoy the complicated game of golf. Now, back by popular demand, Jansa and his staff are here to help you again this summer.

"We're going to have a great time giving golfers tips and information about making their golf more enjoyable. That is always a good thing," said Dakota Golf Management President Tom Jansa.

We all have the itch to get outside and enjoy the nice weather after a rough winter. Mix that with the Masters beginning this weekend and it's easy to see why the areas courses are already filling up.

"Golf in Sioux Falls is strong." said Jansa. "We have had great years even with the bad weather we get. These slow April starts aren't the best, but golf in Sioux Falls at our courses is strong."

One thing that is not strong is my golf game. I hope you will join us every Wednesday night as Tom helps you and I around the three courses he manages while giving us all the tools we need to succeed on the links. The first piece of advice is the most important, yet hardest to remember.

"Have fun," exclaimed Jansa. "Caring about it too much, often time’s people think they are trying, but really all they are doing is caring and that gets in the way. Golf is an enjoyable time. Playing a great round of golf is a privilege and it doesn't always happen, but you can have fun with the people you're playing with."
The premiere of our 14 week series will air Wednesday May 7th during the sports segment at 10. We will also have a link to all the tips on our website KELOLAND.com.
