KELO Announces Anchor Team

December 22, 2006, 10:00 PM by News Staff

KELO Announces Anchor Team
Friday, KELOLAND TV announced that Don Jorgensen and Angela Kennecke will anchor all three evening newscasts on KELOLAND TV beginning January 2, 2007.

“Don and Angela have worked together on KELOLAND News at Ten for more than six years. He is the logical choice to now join her at 5:00 and 6:00," News Director Mark Millage said.

Jorgensen began his career with KELO-TV in 1990 as a reporter. After anchoring KELOLAND This Morning for nine years, Jorgensen was named co-anchor of KELOLAND News at Ten in 2000.

Angela Kennecke joined KELO-TV in 1989 at our Rapid City bureau. In 1991, she was named co-anchor of KELOLAND News at Five and KELOLAND News at Ten.

Both Kennecke and Jorgensen have been an integral part of the leading news organization in the region and one of the most dominant television stations in the country. During their tenure, KELOLAND News has garnered numerous state, regional and national awards for excellence.
