A jury has been selected in the trial of a South Dakota man accused of killing his infant son.
Thirty-nine-year-old Chris Miller, of Scotland, has pleaded not guilty to several charges including second-degree murder in the March 2011 death of four-month-old Jacob Miller, who authorities say was an abused child.
Attorneys screened more than 170 potential jurors to narrow it down to 12 jurors and three alternates.
Opening statements in the trial are scheduled for Tuesday morning at the Turner County Courthouse in Parker
Miller could be sentenced to life in prison if he is found guilty.
