U.S. Senator Tim Johnson says he'll decide in the spring whether or not to seek re-election.
On Tuesday, he said he still has a lot of work to do in Congress.
He calls the debt ceiling the biggest issue in America right now. As for gun control, which is being debated in Washington, D.C., he says it might be better if states look at their own legislation for the issue.
