A popular Yankton restaurant is back in favor with the state health department, after a follow-up inspection today.
An inspector gave JoDean's a 93 with one critical item.
This comes after two back-to-back failed inspections last year, prompting legal action against the restaurant by the State Health Department.
In September, JoDean's received a rating score of 76, after an inspector found two critical violations during a routine health inspection.
A follow-up visit last month uncovered five critical violations, giving the restaurant a rating score of 65. Other scores over the last two years did not dip below 90.
