Job Fair Held In Mitchell Thursday Afternoon

People searching for employment have an opportunity to find lots of openings in one spot.

A job fair will be held in Mitchell, South Dakota, Thursday afternoon from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Technical Institute Trade Center.

More than 35 businesses will be offering employment opportunities in manufacturing, teaching, retail, government, healthcare and more.

Job fair organizers say there are more than 1,000 jobs available in the Mitchell area right now.

This event is free and open for all job seekers. It’s sponsored by the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce, the Mitchell School District and the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation and hosted by Mitchell Technical Institute
