The FBI has placed the leader of a polygamist group with possible ties to South Dakota on its Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.
Officials hope the added exposure and the 100-thousand dollar reward money will result in the arrest of Warren Jeffs. He's the leader of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Jeffs is wanted in Arizona on charges of sexual conduct with a minor. He's also accused of arranging marriages between underage girls and older men and has been charged in Utah with rape as an accomplice. Jeffs also faces a charge of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Authorities say he could have safe houses in several states, including a compound in the southern Black Hills.
