Jamison Holds Meeting On Events Center
May 25, 2011, 5:21 PM
SIOUX FALLS, SD -
The fate of a proposed events center is in the hands of the Sioux Falls City Council.
The mayor made his recommendation; now city council members are deciding where to build it and when the city will vote. But before making a decision, one council member is looking for input.
Greg Jamison is asking people who live in the southwest part of Sioux Falls to share their thoughts Wednesday evening. He's holding a meeting at the Caille Branch library.
Jamison says he's hoping to get some perspective from people who live in his district. He says the council will be making some big decisions in the coming weeks and months, and he wants to know what his constituents are thinking before he makes those decisions.
The meeting starts at 6 p.m. and will wrap up at 7:30 p.m.
