Iowa Mom Charged With Child Endangerment

STORM LAKE, IA -

The "pass out game" landed a Storm Lake, Iowa mother in jail on child endangerment charges.

Storm Lake Police said 31-year-old Jennifer Cordova played the game with her 13 and 7-year-old sons. Cordova told the boys to lie on the floor and breathe heavily. They stood up with crossed arms and Cordova allegedly pushed on their chests until the passed out.

Police say the 13-year-old passed out, fell and hit a table, but 7-year-old did not pass out or suffer any injuries.

Cordova is charged with two counts of child endangerment. The 13-year-old is living with out-of-state relatives, and the 7-year-old is in the custody of his father in Storm Lake.
