Multiple Iowa agencies were involved in a five hour standoff with a wanted man on Friday night.
Plymouth County Sheriff's Office says the U.S. marshals and the northern Iowa Fugitive Task Force attempted to arrest Geovany Gonzalez-Gonzalez who was wanted for failing to appear to a court hearing after being charged with drug trafficking.
Around three p.m. Friday, they found him in a rural home on K-18 South. Family members said he had a pistol and was suicidal and the Sheriff say he refused to surrender.
After several attempts with a negotiator, Gonzalez-Gonzalez finally came out just after 7:30 p.m. He was booked into Woodbury County Jail.
