Investigators: SF Man Connected To 30 Different Burglaries
Richard Kyles

A Sioux Falls man who investigators believe is connected to as many as 30 different burglaries in the city was arrested shortly before 10 p.m. Friday.

Sioux Falls Police arrested 51-year-old Richard Kyles after he burglarized the Zoup restaurant on 41st Street.

Police say each of Kyles’ burglaries were similar, which led them to figure out where his next burglary might take place.

“They were looking for anything they could to try and figure out what type of pattern there was and we were able to narrow it down and were fortunate to be in the right place at the right time,” Sioux Falls Police Public Information Officer Sam Clemens said.

Police executed a search warrant at Kyles’ home on the 100 block of North Trapp Avenue where they found 29 bags with traces of cocaine.
