Interstate 90 east of Sioux Falls is being closed to travel because of blizzard conditions. The state Department of Transportation has closed Interstate 29 south of Sioux Falls to Sioux City, Iowa. Additionally, I-29 in Sioux Falls is closed.
Transportation Secretary Judy Payne says Interstate 29 between Sioux Falls and Brookings has been closed, and I-29 between Brookings and Watertown will be closed at 5:00pm.
In Minnesota, I-90 is being closed between the border and Fairmont.
The state Department of Transportation has issued a no-travel advisory for these counties:
The DOT says no-travel advisories issued earlier for Clark, Kingsbury and Miner counties have been lifted.
