Interstate 29 Now Open To ND Border

Interstate 90 is open across South Dakota and Interstate 29 is open from Sioux Falls to the North Dakota border. 

The state closed it on Sunday between Wall and Sioux Falls due to a blizzard that moved across the area.  Heavy snow and strong winds made travel conditions dangerous. 

While the roads are open again, drivers are reminded that there may still be snow and ice on the roads.  There are also places where blowing and drifting snow could cause problems.  Drivers are also asked to give snowplows plenty of room to work.
