The westbound lanes of Interstate 90 between Sioux Falls and Salem are open for travel.
The section of road was closed for a time Thursday afternoon following a number of crashes during a blizzard.
The South Dakota Department of Transportation says driving conditions are still dangerous due to snow-packed and slippery roads. The blowing snow is also creating low visibility.
If you must travel, you are asked to slow down, drive with caution and be alert to changing conditions.
