Friday night's winds are being blamed for a nine-vehicle pileup on Interstate 90 near Rapid City that sent several people to the hospital.
The chain-reaction crash happened in the eastbound lane of the interstate, west of New Underwood.
Two semi-trucks and seven passenger vehicles were involved.
Troopers say a wind storm created zero visibility for the drivers involved in the crashes.
The extent of their injuries isn't known yet, but no one died.
The eastbound lane has been closed for several hours as crews clear the scene.
