Small grains, potatoes and soybeans are a big focus in Grand Forks this week.
The International Crop Expo is Wednesday and Thursday at the Alerus Center. Organizers expect about 200 exhibits and about 5,000 people from the Dakotas, Montana and Canada.
This year's show will include speeches by agricultural strategist Michele Payn-Knoper and National Potato Council CEO John Keeling.
The show was founded 12 years ago after the Alerus opened, combining three smaller events hosted individually by small grain, potato and soybean groups.
