Inside KELOLAND: Jobs And The Economy

South Dakota has one of the tightest job markets in the country, but having such a low unemployment rate can create some unique challenges.

To deal with the problem the state is holding workforce summits across the state. South Dakota is ahead of the curve when it comes to closing the skills gap. It helped land one south dakota educator a trip to washington D.C. And a meeting with Vice President Joe Biden.

Plus, those new grads getting into the workforce are often burdened with thousands of dollars in student loan debt.
Now they might have some relief.
