SIOUX FALLS, SD -
Heart disease is often thought of as a man's disease, but women 20-years-old or older are more likely to die of cardiovascular disease than any other cause of death. In fact, 90 percent of women have one or more risk factors.
The symptoms often differ from woman to woman and if you don't know what to watch for it can be deadly. Sixty-four percent of women who die of heart disease have no previous symptoms.
On this Inside KELOLAND, we dedicate the entire half hour to heart disease. A survivor shares her story, plus we look at the warning signs and when it's time to get help.
