Injured SD Deputy Back At Work, Doing Light Duty

BRITTON, SD -
A sheriff's deputy in northeast South Dakota who was injured on the job about a month ago is back at work, doing light duty.
Marshall County Deputy Wesley Busche was getting something out of the trunk of his patrol car on Nov. 18 in Langford when he was pinned between the squad car and an ambulance.
Sgt. Caleb Walters says that the ambulance had been parked in neutral, and it rolled forward.
Busche returned to work Wednesday. Sheriff Dale Elsen says Busche likely will spend another month on light duty, which involves such things as secretarial work.
