LARCHWOOD, IA -
The Lyon County Sheriff's Department is investigating a roadside robbery west of Larchwood, Iowa, early Monday morning.
Officials say a man noticed a dark red Ford SUV pulled over on County road A-18 near Arthur Avenue around 1:25 a.m. with its hazard lights on. A woman was standing behind it waiving for the man to stop, which he did.
When he asked her what the problem was, a man came up to his window and took his debit card. The man and woman then got into the SUV and took off.
The suspects' vehicle did not have a rear license plate but did have a paper plate in the rear window. Anyone who has information or sees a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle sitting alongside a road should contact officials immediately.
