I-90 Open From Mitchell To Sioux Falls

April 10, 2013, 7:06 AM

I-90 Open From Mitchell To Sioux Falls
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

A stretch of Interstate 90 has opened up Wednesday morning.

I-90 is now open between Mitchell and Sioux Falls. But, it remains closed between Mitchell and Rapid City until further notice.

South Dakota Department of Transportation officials want to remind you that roads across the state are snow-packed and slippery. And even though a stretch of I-90 is open, it is still extremely slick. They urge you to slow down when traveling.

Plows will continue to be on the roads Wednesday morning.

You are encouraged to visit Safe Travel USA’s website or call 511 before traveling.
