A Huron man has been indicted on three dozen counts of sex-related offenses, including charges of rape and incest.
Sixty-five-year-old John Rose is charged with eight counts of first-degree rape, eight counts of sexual contact with a child under age 16, eight counts of aggravated incest and 12 counts of possession or manufacture of child pornography.
Rose is free from custody after posting bond. He was indicted by a Beadle County grand jury as the result of an ongoing investigation conducted by the Huron Police Department and the state Division of Criminal Investigation.
Rose's next court appearance is set for Jan. 15.
