Hundreds Take Part In Tour de Cure
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Nearly 300 people registered to ride their bicycles in search of a cure for diabetes today.

The Tour de Cure is a national fund raiser, and each regional event donates money to the American Diabetes Association. Matt Dreke has been participating in South Dakota's Tour de Cure for three years, and each time, he's donated two thousand dollars to the organization.

“My former co-worker and my boss have diabetes and so I want to help fund raise for a good cause,” Dreke

South Dakota Tour de Cure Manager Sarah Barck reports that so far, South Dakota's Tour de Cure has gathered over 80 thousand dollars toward their goal of 98 thousand. But even though the bike ride is over, people can still donate up to 30 days from today.

If you'd like to donate to the American Diabetes Association through this event, check out http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR?fr_id=9389&pg=pfind.
