How You Are Helping To Feed The Need

How You Are Helping To Feed The Need

For the past week, we've been asking you to do your part to fight hunger in your community.  Here are a couple of the ways you're making a difference.

The District Four Farmer's Union is donating a yearling steer to auction off for "Feeding Tripp County."

We've also heard from a group of military veterans holding a Poker Run on September 21 in Brookings to benefit the Feeding South Dakota backpack program.

On September 20, we are holding a donation drive for Feeding South Dakota at our KELO TV studios in Sioux Falls.

It's not too late to start a collection of food or spare change.  Then drop it off on September 20 and it will all go directly to Feeding South Dakota.

Visit our Hunger: Feeding the Need page for more on the problem in South Dakota.
