Homes Evacuated Due To Forest Fire Near Custer

CUSTER, SD -

Strong winds are fueling a forest fire burning near Custer State Park.

20 homes are being evacuated in the Danby Park development due to the fire. According to the Incident Information System website, the Fork fire is 75 acres is size.

A power outage in the Black Hills is creating concerns about emergency communication.

KELOLAND's Derek Olson is on his way to the fire; we'll have more information as new details are released.
