Icy roads could be to blame for a serious crash in Spink County on Monday.
A driver lost control on Highway 281 near Ashton around 8:30 am.
The car flipped after it entered the ditch, ejecting four people, including two children.
One of those children went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. An Aberdeen woman suffered serious injuries. The others had minor injuries.
Only the driver was wearing a seat belt.
The Highway Patrol is still investigating.
