Herseth Sandlin Chosen For Innovation Campus Board

BROOKINGS, SD -
Former U.S. Rep. Stephanie Herseth Sandlin will join the board that oversees the Innovation Campus at South Dakota State University.
The Innovation Campus is a 125-acre research park that will mix established companies with startup companies.
Brookings County Commissioner Don Larson told fellow commissioners that Herseth Sandlin was willing to replace him on the board. The commission voted unanimously to appoint her.
The board includes government officials and representatives from the Brookings Economic Development Corporation, the SDSU Foundation and SDSU.
