You have a chance to help two universities in the Midwest win some major money.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association is holding a sweepstakes called 6th Fan. You vote for your favorite Division 1 school for a chance for the school to win money that goes to its general scholarship fund. The winning school will receive $100,000.

Right now, both North Dakota State University and South Dakota State University are in the competition, which is in its third round.

You can vote by using your email address, Facebook account or by tweeting #6thfan and your school's hashtag. NDSU’s hashtag is #NDST and SDSU’s is #SDAKST. You're allowed to vote once per method, per day.

The University of South Dakota was also in the competition, but didn't make it out of the first round.

Voting for the third round or "Elite Eight," as it's called, ends Sunday at 10:59 p.m.
