LINCOLN CO., SD -
Depending where you live in Lincoln County, homeowners could be shoveling anywhere from five to seven inches of snow on Friday.
People in some of the hardest hit areas say they're happy to get as much as they did.
Courtney Juhnke cleared his parents' Harrisburg driveway for the second time since late Thursday night. The city just south of Sioux Falls picked up more than six inches in the latest snow storm. There's so much snow, his mom Leanne, lends him a hand.
"I think this is the most we've had in a couple years and it will help out," Leanne Juhnke said.
This winter wonderland extends to Canton, where Ron Gordy was also hard at work.
"I'm kind of surprised there is that much snow. It looked nice out this morning," Gordy said.
Crews were busy clearing residential roads in Lincoln County. But all of this extra snow doesn't seem to be causing too many problems for drivers.
"I suppose we've got a little more than in Sioux Falls," Mike Eliason said.
And while the recent snowstorm isn't a drought buster by any means, people in Lincoln County are thankful for what they've got.
"It's moisture anyway. We need the moisture. It's worth it," Dick Hoffman said.
