Heavy Rain On The Way

Today's rain in western South Dakota is just a sign of things to come. As of now, the highest rain totals will be in the west but eastern KELOLAND will get their fair share.
Computer models from this morning are easily spitting out over two inches in western South Dakota. Here's a look at some of the raw numbers from the European and American models.
Rapid City will get drenched with an average of nearly two and a half inches between the two models, Aberdeen follows with just over two, Sioux Falls is averaging just under two inches through Saturday.
As you can see from this list, most locations are averaging over an inch, except for Chamberlain. Both models give under an inch, with an average close to eight tenths.
With the amounts of rain being so high, this is one of the rare times I hope the forecast is wrong.

The Hand County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Leroy Nye, who was last seen at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18.

According to the Hand County Sheriff's Office, Leroy Nye and the vehicle Nye drove have been found but no other details have been released.
