Health Screenings At Scheels

Avera Health sponsored a free women's health screenings, checking up on everything from glucose to blood pressure to circulation.

Organizers say it's a great opportunity to get multiple screening done in one quick location.

"I would say that it's very successful and very helpful for area woman who, let's face it, sometimes it's hard to get away during the week to make an appointment and it's very nice to offer such great screening tools to woman in large groups like this," Avera Breast Center Director Jill Schultz said.

And there was an incentive, the first 100 women to participate in the free screening got a Scheels gift certificate.
