Hartford Crews Respond To Several Grass Fires

HARTFORD, SD - Our dry, windy weather kept fire crews near Hartford busy Monday afternoon.

Crews were called to at least two different grass fires. One was near some abandoned buildings but firefighters quickly got that one under control.

A smaller fire a few minutes later, actually came close to some homes.

Both were knocked out with very little damage done. There's no word yet on a cause.
