Harris Pleads Not Guilty To Fatal Crash Charges
October 7, 2011, 9:13 PM
Another ruling was issued Friday in the vehicular homicide case against 28-year-old James Harris.
He's the man charged in the death of 16-year-old Zachary Eichstadt of De Smet.
A judge ruled there is probable cause to proceed with the case after a technicality caused the charges to be re-filed in Kingsbury County.
Eichstadt's 15-year-old brother, Nick, was with him the night of fatal crash and testified hearing what sounded like an engine and then a thud as a white pick up raced by.
Harris has pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide, felony hit and run and drunk driving.
Harris will be back in court November 15th.
