MILBANK, SD -
A petition drive in northeastern South Dakota is picking up steam.
A group in the Milbank area would like to see lawmakers pass a one-cent sales tax increase to help fund education and Medicaid. So far, they've collected more than 500 signatures and dozens of petitions are still being circulated.
Their goal is to have 1,000 by the time they deliver the petitions to Pierre March 2.
