Groundbreaking For New Downtown Hotel

September 12, 2012, 12:47 PM by Hailey Higgins

Groundbreaking For New Downtown Hotel
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

The Sioux Falls skyline may look a little different next fall.

The new Hilton Garden Inn is set to open in downtown Sioux Falls, near 8th and Railroad.

A groundbreaking ceremony held Wednesday morning at the new CNA Building officially kicks off the project.

There's a lot of excitement surrounding the new hotel.  It's expected to be unlike any other hotel in the city.  It will be a five-story, boutique-style hotel.  In addition to the around 150 rooms, the hotel will also include a convention center.
