GreatLife Malaska Golf & Fitness Announcement

December 11, 2013, 12:06 PM by Angela Kennecke

GreatLife Malaska Golf & Fitness Announcement

GreatLife Malaska Golf & Fitness is the big consolidation of golf courses and fitness centers in the city under one umbrella in the Sioux Falls area.

Tom Walsh Sr., the local Burger King franchise owner, has partnered with a Kansas company to bring the GreatLife concept to the city.

GreatLife Malaska Golf and Fitness is buying or leasing five golf courses in the Sioux Falls metro area and two existing fitness centers, EmBe and Sioux Empire Fitness.

Walsh says he and his partners are putting $20 million into the facilities by 2015.  People can buy unlimited golf and fitness memberships starting at $50 a month to use all the facilities.  A family will pay $70 a month for a membership.

Currently there is a $50 sign-up fee, with half of that going to EmBe

Get more information on memberships on the GreatLife website.
