Governor Daugaard Makes Reappointments
January 24, 2012, 6:29 AM
PIERRE, SD -
Governor Dennis Daugaard has reappointed three individuals to the State Conservation Commission.
David Fischbach of Faith, Alan Vedvei of Lake Preston, and Thomas Glover of Burke will serve terms that expire on Jan. 1, 2015. Fischbach serves as the Area III representative and Vedvei serves as the farmer-at-large representative. Glover serves as the representative from the water development districts.
South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture Walt Bones says the three bring a wealth of experiences to the commission, and their knowledge of the conservation practices has been invaluable during
their tenure.
Fischbach, Vedvei, and Glover will serve with six others on the commission, which has administrative oversight of South Dakota's 69 conservation districts.
