Gov. Daugaard Requests Flags Be Flown At Half-Staff Tuesday
PIERRE, SD -

Flags to be flown at half-staff on Tuesday, May 27 in honor of Ruth Ziolkowski, has been requested by Gov. Dennis Daugaard.

Memorial services for Ziolkowski will be held at Crazy Horse Memorial on the 26th and 27th.

A public viewing will be held on the 26th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the studio of the original log home built by Ruth and her husband Korczak in 1948.

A celebration of Ruth’s life is on the 27th beginning at 10 a.m. Those who wish to attend should come early. Services are open to anyone and the admission fee will be waived from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
