Good Weather Brings Many To Farmers Market

May 24, 2014, 6:38 PM by Kathleen Serie

Good Weather Brings Many To Farmers Market

After a series of rainy, cold weeks, the sun is finally shining, and the Sioux Empire Farmers Market is thriving.

Vendors are selling a wide variety of products, from plants and flowers, to honey and jam. They set up each Saturday morning from eight until one, offering local products and helpful advice to their customers.

"They have more of a personal relationship with it, they're investing in the community. Also, there's a lot of products that you can buy at the farmers markets that you may not see at a box store or a place like that,” vendor Tim Wassom said.

You can stop by the Sioux Empire Farmers Market each Saturday through October. You can also check out their website.
