Gold Bar Found In Salvation Army Kettle

Gold Bar Found In Salvation Army Kettle
SIOUX FALLS, SD -

Some Salvation Army bell ringers in Sioux Falls found a big surprise in a red kettle on Monday.

The charitable organization found a one-ounce gold bar inside the kettle with a note that said, "Bell Ringers are Special People."

This is the second gold bar someone has anonymously given the Salvation Army.

Advisory Board Chairman Steve Cook says the organization thanks the "unknown saint," as well as the entire community for their generosity this holiday season.

Sammi Bjelland will catch up with the Salvation Army Tuesday afternoon. Hear the organization's reaction to the gift tonight on KELOLAND News.
