SIOUX FALLS, SD -

It's the number one killer of women and Friday, the American Heart Association held a luncheon to put a face to heart disease.

Go Red For Women is the American Heart Association's nationwide movement that celebrates the energy, passion and power of women banding together to wipe out heart disease.

Nearly 500 influential women and men in the community heard from survivors experts, and committed volunteers who serve on the front lines of the battle about how to decrease risk and join the fight.
