Getting To Know Denny Sanford

Getting To Know Denny Sanford

78-year-old Denny Sanford lives a very big life. He invited our news crew to get just a glimpse of it at his San Diego home.

"I have more money in this crazy house that I do in my other four" Sanford said.

While he's a household name in South Dakota, he's becoming more well-known in California and Arizona for his charitable donations and his causes.

While Sanford is determined to die broke, he's having a lot of fun before he gets there. His nickname of WOLT, tells a lot about the man.

Which stands for? Sanford says, "World's Oldest Living Teenager." Laughs. Accurate? "Pretty accurate I think so."

From the thrill seekers to the philanthropists, to the entrepreneur, there are many sides to this billionaire.  We will show you them in a series of reports starting Monday at 5, 6 and 10.
