Warner built a big first-half lead and went on to post a 47-38 semifinal victory over Sully Buttes on Friday in the South Dakota girls Class B basketball tournament.
The Monarchs held the Chargers to two first-quarter points and led 27-7 at the intermission as they advanced to the state title game.
Ashley Rozell paced top-seeded Warner (24-1) with 17 points, hitting 5 of 6 field goal attempts and 7 of 8 free throw attempts. Rachel Rogers added 11 points and eight rebounds and Miranda Ristau finished with 10 points and eight rebounds.
The Monarchs shot 64 percent from the field to the Chargers' 41 percent.
Sully Buttes (21-4) was led by Chloe Lamb with 14 points and Karlea Stahl with nine.
